when the broken hearts are mended and
the many tears are dried ; you learn.
you see that the world doesn't end,
just because you think it will.
and you learn that sometimes growing up
really does mean letting go.
you learn what real love is.
you begin to see that one friend who
really cares is better than a hundred who don't.
you learn that you can be strong if you just
take every thing day by day
and that you'll survive through every sad moment
if you just go step by step
so just feel the pain, and cry the tears,
and go out and fully experience life.
but when you're at the end of your rope,
and you're ready to jump off the ledge,
just remember that heartaches always fade,
and pain always subsides
and although life seems too tough to handle sometimes,
it's too much of a precious gift
to even think about wasting it.
so keep on living, never give up,
and remember: as you grow, you also learn.
